PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) was established at January 1st, 1992, merged among Daihatsu Indonesia (est. in 1978), Daihatsu Engine Manufacturing Indonesia (est. in 1983), and National Astra Motor (est. in 1987).

The line of business of ADM are manufacturer and sole agent of Daihatsu Vehicle. The plants containing stamping plant, engine plant, casting plant, and assembling plant. The plant which use CNG technology is located in KIIC (Karawang International Industrial City), Karawang. The total of employees are 5300 persons.

ADM has certified in ISO 9001:2000 (for stamping plant, engine plant, assembling plant, and head office), QS 9000 (for casting plant), ISO 14001 (for stamping plant, engine plant, casting plant, and assembling plant), and OHSAS 18000 (for casting plant).
